When visionary developers and architects set out to transform a former Holiday Inn into a standout destination along Kentucky’s iconic Bourbon Trail, they needed trusted partners to bring their ideas to life. We were proud to support the design team behind The Trail Hotel, delivering engineering solutions that elevate guest comfort and modern functionality without compromising the building’s unique character.
With 95 rooms, 8 suites, a modern lobby, a 4-star restaurant, 3 bars, spa and outdoor swimming pool, the luxury resort hotel is a testament to what’s possible when creative design and expert collaboration come together.
- A new wet type sprinkler system was added to provide coverage to the common areas.
- A new dry system was added to the existing hotel rooms.
- New water service and backflow preventer installed to service existing building and new addition.
- Propane gas specified in lieu of natural gas because natural gas was not available to the site.
