Bon Secours Charity Health System – Warwick Campus – Facility Assessment
Warwick, New York
The Bon Secours Charity Health System (BSCHS) includes three area hospitals as well as certified home health services, two long-term care facilities, an assisted living and adult home facility and several other off-site medical programs. As a system of caregivers, BSCHS is committed to help and bring people and communities to health and wholeness.
Kerr-Greulich Engineers, Inc. was selected to complete an assessment of three buildings; a 68,000 square foot assisted living facility, a 63,000 square foot, 120 bed skilled nursing facility and a 38,000 square foot administrative office building. The assessment was provided to assist the client in identifying current and long term cost implications as they relate to the existing M/E/P systems infrastructure as part of a planning exercise to correlate the facilities with a business plan.
Highlights of KGEI’s assessment include:
- The evaluation of the physical plant systems – fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm system.
- Provided a broad overview of current conditions, history of system upgrades and life expectancy of existing systems.
- Assessment focused on the immediate and projected one to five year expenditure needs.
