About Kerr-Greulich Engineers, Inc.

In 1983, Don Greulich started a small engineering firm with a goal of providing engineering services in ways that other companies were falling short. While working in the construction industry, he saw firsthand engineers who generally did not pay enough attention to costs or owners’ requirements. He believed that a client’s project budget needed to be managed as closely as their own business budget.

In 1984, Scott Setliffe joined the Kerr-Greulich team alongside Don. The young firm’s motivation to succeed and the belief that every engineering system should work hard for the funds invested grew the business over time. Small projects and long hours led to more and bigger projects. The diversity of the work increased as the firm applied its resources and skills in multiple market segments.

Today, Kerr-Greulich is an ESOP company with more than 30 employees and a reputation as one of the most respected engineering firms in the region. While Ben Gries is President, Don and Scott are still actively involved. The entire Kerr-Greulich team enjoys the satisfaction of delivering engineering solutions to the community in which they live and beyond. The firm is registered in 40+ states with clients throughout. Locally, Kerr-Greulich’s work is found in both the private and public sector including all three regional library projects, numerous commercial office buildings, the Speed Art Museum and multiple distilleries.
